District Health Center De Vaart wants to create an innovative project. By creating a strong, multidisciplinary and inclusive operation, we want to provide better care to our patients. Here, our main drivers are close cooperation between the different disciplines, a culture of consultation and focus on the patient.

We are looking for a nurse who feels like helping to shape this project together.

What will you do?

  • As a nurse, you will be one of the driving forces behind and within our multidisciplinary team, which includes family physicians, fellow nurses, a midwife, a social worker, a psychologist and physical therapists. The emphasis on care complementarity within this team ensures more efficient care.
  • You strive to provide care that is evidence-based and mindful of the patient’s integrality. You will do this within a challenging, stimulating multicultural setting and region.
  • You will record independent consultations, where your technical skills are important, e.g. blood draw, wound care, ECG, …

Who are you?

  • You are an experienced OR newly graduated nurse.
  • You want to commit to taking on the role of nurse as a team player within a multidisciplinary team.
  • You are multilingual, strong in communication and work culturally sensitive.
  • You are accredited, or wish to be accredited.
  • You may want to commit to setting up projects.

What do we offer?

  • We offer a fixed-term contract, with option of permanent
  • We are looking, preferably, for someone who can start quickly.
  • Salary according to bar scale IFIC Class 14 = “nurse in a community health center.
  • The center is open from 8 am to 7 pm. Your hours will be mutually agreed upon by the team. You will work with a set work schedule. You only have to do the late shift (until 6:30 pm) 1 evening.
  • Third-party payer system for commuting by public transportation, bicycle reimbursement or partial cost reimbursement for other transportation.
  • Meal vouchers from 6 months of employment.
